Welcome to the 2008 North American and FH
Championship,
Entries are in, venue set, tracking fields and tracklayers acquired, I
can say with confidence quality helpers have been selected along with a
slate of Judges with impeccable knowledge and history ……. Game On!!!
Merrimack Valley Working Dog Club and I welcome all competitors and
spectators to the Capital City of Concord, the Beautiful Granite State
of New Hampshire and the North American Schutzhund and FH Championship.
I ask all
competitors to use the website for any info needed or for any questions
they might have. We have a competent Staff at all areas of the
competition so please ask them for help with any assistance you might
need.
Proper Sportsmanship is expected throughout the
event. The Chairperson will immediately dismiss any competitor for, at
his discretion, actions deemed as unsportsmanlike. All approved training
equipment is allowed on the event field during practice. Competitors are
not to use the event field after designated event hours, please be
respectful of the City’s wishes. Immediately following the Draw only
flat, fursaver or prong type collars are allowed to be used in White
Park.
The Championship venue will be undergoing a multimillion dollar
renovation the day after the completion of the event. David Gill the
Director of Parks and Recreation has expressed a welcoming to our
organization to hold future events at their new complex. I am confident
all competitors and spectators will represent the United Schutzhund
Clubs of America as the premier working dog organization that it is.
I extend
Merrimack Valley Working
Dog Club’s deepest gratitude to David Gill and his Staff at the Parks
and Rec. Dept. .Along with the City of Concord and its Citizens for
allowing us to host this event in this Great City.
On behalf of Merrimack Valley Working Dog Club
and the N.E. Region, I wish all Dog and Handler Teams success this
Championship weekend.
Sincerely Yours in Sport,
Ken Murphy
